its our 3rd attempt! Now, they revamped and re-name it to Sale Of Balance Flats. Basically they are new flats (almost finish construction or newly done up) and re-purchase flats.
Competition is tougher now that there are only 26 units (to be exact, we only prefer like 10 of the available units) up for grabs and there's already 700+ applications! So success ratio is like 1:28.

and we realised something very important and we missed it! we could have previously submitted our application under this Married Child Priority Scheme (MCPS). We didnt know that under fiance/fiancee can opt for this. We thought as the name implies - its only for married ones. Well, this scheme gives first-timers like us, an additional 2 chances in balloting. criteria is the flat we applied is within 2km of our parents/parents-in-laws. Then the parents/parents-in-laws have to reside at the same plc for 5yrs, cannot move out to another estate.

How to know if its within 2km? Dont need to guess guess guess. Cos website got this tool for you to query.



So now, we have 4 chances in this over-rated lucky draw. 2 chances as first-timers and 2 chances under MCPS. Results out by End Nov.

Actually, now I am q worried that we may get it. dunnoe why, as one age, one gets more timid and worried! worry about life after marriage, worry about financial issues. The one we aiming are the newly completed flats (tivela/atrina), meaning, if we get it, we have to be officially announced husband-wife!!!!!!

Then why I still apply? cos.......we really like these locations. and prices keep heading north... the same unit offered on april was 260k+. now, the same unit is already at 300k+

so lets wait...
