liew lian plantation. liew lian tree, alot of flies, very humid, very hot!
this is their plantation. got a small kampung home there. they have a stall too.
3 lorries of liew lian. ang hei, mao shan wang, kampung liew lian or normal ones. range from RM 4 - RM 7 per kg! at SG, ang hei or mao shan wang is btw S$10 - S$15 per kg.
Start eating liew lian le.. eat there or tabao and put in your container. liew lian shell, just throw anywhere u like, durian seeds...throw anywhere also!!!
the amount of liew lians we bought back...3 big tupperwares. that is not all! we bought another 4 huge liew lian, not opened up.
All are fresh, and the flesh is thickthick de. the smell is whooooooooo!!
very fun & good trip. dont need to worry abt getting lost, gps giving problem. every1 communicate via walkies and evyone keep alookout for each other. "toyota vios catch-up catch-up, dont leave big gap", "traffic light turning amber..traffic light countdown 5,4, 3, 2, 1, GO GO GO" and cruising at 140, 150, 160kmh...and its as if we'll travelling at just 80, 90..
hahaa..its something we rarely get to experience!

Road trip to Muar ~~
Date: 14 June 2009 Meet up : Science Centre open car park Time 07:00 am
Program as below: 07:00 - Meet at Jurong Science Center (open car park) 07:30 - Set off 08:30 - Head count at Gelang Patah R&R car park then move off 09:30 - Breakfast at Machap R&R10:00 - Driving to Muar 11:30 - Lunch/Shopping/Marketing at Muar Giant Hyper Market.. 13:30 - Driving to Durian Buffet at Durian Plantation15:00 - Back to Singapore for Family dinner (if not, durian turn bad) 18:00 - ETA reached home (have early rest, next day got work)
LOL. We're joining the Avante Cub to Muar, to eat durian. I like durian but he loveeeeeee durian. Just confirm with the org for tmr trip. See ? so super last min !
