Anyway....the groom didn want to go bridal-boutiques-shopping. ROM @ church on 09.09.09. Banquet, 70 tables!! okies... not a very big hooha. cos for big family, 70 tables is norm. I think I cannot even occupy 5 tables lor! And ... i saw her shortlisted banquets venue are all ermm.... i name a few, ritz carlton, shangri-la, grandhyatt, orchard hotel. WOW. then she shared her dilemma with us on banquet venues - they need to find a plc suitable for parking their and guests' zeng-ed, very-very-very-low-bumper-exp-cars. And her wish is to rent a ferrari during actual day !!
shit. so gossip!
Back to story. Always thought all these packages are very exp, like 5k or 6K. but they range between 3388 to 3888. Their way of doing business, very strange.
1. 1 shop at MarinaSquare - they dont let u try any long gowns at all. Those short ones - okay. How can dont try?? Else, how you know which one u like, which one suits u? One can only try when u SIGN with them. SIAO
2. All shops dont let u take shots. Okay, this one I already know of when cousin wed in 2006. So, u haf to "toe-toe" take shots. But yday at 1 boutique, the sales staff was practically with her EVERY MOMENT. (even when in fitting rm)
3. They dont allow u to take home their package listing, ie : their brochures, catalogues. It is just a 80gms normal A4 size paper, include what is offer in that package. like, how many outfits, how many shots etc etc. Return this list once u stepped out of the shop. Meaning - u haf to copy down every single item urself.
When we asked why cannot take it away ... the staff say jokingly - "haha, u think it is IT fair meh? cannot lah..cannot take away this list de la"
Then how u wanna do business with us? Then, at MS, there's this 3 day bridal fair. Packages are at very much affordable prices - ie: below 3K. but u haf to sign on the spot. with no fittings and etc. LOL, making such big purchase at such haste moment.
