the more i tink, the more angry i am! if not tt i like the dress, i will jolly well dun buy from them! WTF!
I am writing in to express my bad experience and disappointment encountered on your various outlets on Saturday, 16th Sept.
This is actually my 2nd bad experience with the brand. The 1st experience happened this year around June. It was at your Suntec Boutique. It was a dispute over some stocks. However, I decided to forget about the incident.
In just a short period of 3 months, I had another bad experience again. Thus, I decided I couldn sit back, pretend that nothing has happened. I wish to express my thoughts and share with the relevant authorities and hope that something can be done. This is one incident that is indeed serious and may affect your business image or even reputation.
On Saturday, 7pm, at Wisma Atria Boutique:
I wanted to make purchase for a dress, however there was no more size S, thus I requested to collect from Takashimaya instead.
I went there immediately to collect the dress and enquire if the privilege card I am holding is still valid. I was then told by the staff that I wasn’t entitled to the discount as the store was under takashimaya. I understood and accepted the reason that was given to me. But I was hoping a stock transfer could be done for my convenience. I wouldn mind going back to Wisma again, to pay and get my purchase. This stock transfer just require some coordination between the 2 outlets and I am sure it could be done. Especially since the next nearest outlet at Hereen has also run out of stock! And the next nearest outlet is the one at Suntec City.
I was extremely upset and unhappy over this. I felt that your staff at both outlets could have offer me more help and solution and attend to me more efficiently and tactfully. The staff at Takashimaya wasn’t very attentive to me and in addition, she had given me a rather un-reluctant service attitude!!
Since my privilege card is not accepted, and an internal stock transfer cannot be coordinated. I have no other choice but to proceed to the Suntec City boutique to collect it personally. I had also ensured that the staff at Takashimaya had called Suntec City boutique to reserve it for me, and I confirmed that I will be going down to collect it.
I am sure you know that with IMF going on, getting to Suntec City is not as easy and convenient. It is really very time consuming and a hassle to travel down from outlets to outlets! I was worried, and at 8pm, I called to Suntec City boutique personally. I spoke to a young lady staff and confirmed my reservation with her. In the conversation, I had quoted my name, the design, size and colour and the approximate time I will reach there.
I reached Suntec City boutique at 9pm. Upon reaching, I had asked for my dress. I was once being treated with a bad and shocking experience! They did not reserve it for me at all! The dress was still hanging there for sales. And furthermore, it was the last piece.
How will you feel if you were me? Travelling a long and inconvenient way, from outlets to outlets. Had asked for reservation, yet it wasn’t done, due to staff’s negligence. And worse, found out it had been sold??? I was lucky that the dress was still there!
The incident was then pushed around the staffs at suntec. One staff had said that the Takashimaya staff merely mentioned that I will be going down to take a look only, and did not ask for a reservation.
The other staff (a new staff), the one who I spoken to at around 8pm was in a blur and confused state. She couldn recall much details about our conversation. She THINK she had heard me said im coming down to take the dress, but somehow she had just forgot to pack it and reserve for me.
I never had such a bad experience shopping with any retailers. I was utterly frustrated and upset over this. Especially with your brand, which always comes up to the top few names when high quality and unique dresses are mentioned!
Lets just look at the recent charles and keith sales. All the stores were in such a big mess, many sizes are running low, high volume of customers. When I need assistance to collect the size I need from another outlet, it was all done smoothly and perfectly.
Anyway, I still purchase the dress and was given an additional 5%, on top of my privilege card 10%. At least, that was a gesture that I appreciate. In future, when I wear the dress and people asked where I bought it from, I will still say, “Daniel yam’ , but with the lack of proudness and probably, recommendation to others
An even sad thing to mention, another of my friend had also experienced bad service from your staffs. Probably, your staffs should be trained to serve customers tactfully, politely, courteous and of course, in a professional way.

He asked me if we can do without a wedding banquet. I cant. Bcos firstly, my family will wanna haf one. And im super sure my parents want one too, bcos im their only one.
To him, a banquet equals to feeding people's mouth with good food!! He rather go for a perfect honeymoon holiday, have a great home, buy a great car. Yah lah, its true. But i suppose, wedding banquet, is a tradition that i will go on with it. Of course, only close ones are invited. no ah beng, ah seng, ah lian and ah hua. only close relatives and frens.
absolutely sicked n unmotivated of my job. what shld i do? is she gonna gif me my confirmation, a perm position?
